Summary

A numerical and data analysis platform for individuals and teams

Description
In essence, the platform will be a web application that allows users to create projects by themselves or with a group. These projects generally will contain tools for numerical analysis as well as data analysis and visualization. The app is divided into separate sections that can be navigated by a sidebar. The first section allows the user to manage projects under the workspace. The second section allows users to create graphs, charts, and plots using a given input of numbers, an existing file with data, or from a database table. The third section will have different types of calculators which one can use to compute results. These results are recorded in a history that is accessible. The history section will allow the user to tag certain results or export them individually, all, or by tags. The fourth section is a data manager that allows users to create a table with information and use them within the project or export them to an external source. Support for certain features such as a console and SQL commands will be available. Lastly, the fifth section allows users to create groups and collaborate through peer work and revisions. The user also will have access to profile settings and workspace settings. I’m really interested in building this and would like feedback from other developers. If you have any questions, do ask as I need a clear cut idea on how I will approach this project.

Dunno if you're accepting collaborators but if so I'm interested.

@Mathtauathogen Awesome! Is there any part of the app that you feel like is within your domain?

It's very similar to the project I have to start after my PTO (sadly) end. I was thinking of roughly the same tech stack. There's a real need for that in our company.
I'll keep an eye on your project and maybe tell you what our data scientists expect from such a tool
