There is no addiction to internet. No one gets addicted to food or water

Not to the literal internet, but you definitely can get addicted to specific types of content available on the internet, and internet-based services and applications.

And food addictions exist too, so what the fuck are you on about?

As for the Internet, it it's self is not a substance, but a means of inducing addictive content.

People absolutely do get addicted to food tho. They also do get addicted to the internet. idk about water tho but with 7 billion people there's gotta be one or two

Gaming addiction is a serious problem. People forget/refuse to eat and drink because they don't want to stop playing games. They put toilets in their living rooms so they don't have to get up. They become extremely abusive when they cannot game.
But I don't think you can apply this to the internet, or social media, or anything like that.
