Don't want to be that guy, but there are people that actually enjoy programming and don't just do it for money after halfass-ly attending a coding bootcamp
Yeah I go home and want to do more programming -
ars135582y@12bitfloat I think the point is workplaces where they expect you to do so. You are not supposed to have a life beyond programming. I remember my boss telling me before I started interviewing some guy that, if he did not say he coded in his free time I should immediately skip him. That was about 5 years ago in the US, fuck those companies.

@ars1 Fair enough. I just couldn't imagine that. "Hey, figure out how to do this very complex thing!" I mean, hell yeah, why didn't you say so sooner?

qwwerty11352y@Ikaroz @12bitfloat nobody says there aren't people who enjoy it. but it's completely wrong (from some of the employers) to expect everybody to be that way and use it as a qualification measure.
