I listen to EDM mostly. The beat and the rhythm focuses me and I start to type with the beat of the music.

My favorite is late 90s early 2000s EDM, the darker the better.

@jonas-w love that second one. Very minimalist and reminds me of some very early EDM I loved but lost access to years ago.

@lbfalvy I love me some muse, their latest album leaves me wanting though. I kind of feel their passion is being tempered by their age. Can't always be a revolutionary 🤷‍♂️

I could dig some Jan for night time coding though. Pretty nice sequences. Reminds me of a bit of the Tron legacy feel from DP but like only the best parts. Definitely listening to this one tonight.

i listen to podcasts, music is too distracting because it's either very good inwhich case i can't help but fully focus on it, or it's average/too monotonous, in which case what distracts me is the irritation at the music being average/monotonous.

@Midnight-shcode I tried podcasts but hearing someone speak is very distracting to me.

All the lyrical music I listen to is usually foreign to me and I can't understand it anyway.
