Burnout is the absolute worst. Feeling like you can’t bring yourself to do anything even though you really want to work on the project. You know logically that you want to get it done and you do genuinely care about the project. But you just can’t bring yourself to commit to it anymore because you’ve given it your all for far too long. You keep telling yourself that you will get us back to work tomorrow or the day after. But rest never feels like enough rest it’s exhausting. Baby steps I guess. I feel like at this point I’ve just developed a habit of putting it off. Time to build a more constructive habit.

The worst part is that you can’t do anything about it until it's gone. I work out often, but It doesn’t help prevent it - I plan on running as soon as the weather gets better with the hope that it eliminates/decreases this stupid “feeling”.

@amoux personally I have the athletic talent of a potato. I tend to read novels as a way of trying to get over it. It helps but it still takes time. I recently finished reading Artemis by Andy Weir. It was good and I’m finding myself a little more able to take on my projects. Sometimes all it takes is just having some “you” time.
