@n0ah I use this although it's not compatible with Firefox Quantum (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/...). It's still working somehow appearantly xD

www.youtube.com/?gl=??
No need for VPN. Just replace '??' with the country code of country you wish to see it in, eg., 'US'
This setting is now hidden from the UI since the time the new UI rolled out. -
dfox426037y@JoshBent we’ve seen that issue a few times before and unfortunately it’s an issue at the SDK level having to do with the ListView. It should be fixed when we upgrade the SDK version we’re using which will be this coming release or next, but either way, from my understanding this happens very rarely.

@linuxxx Firefox 57 still allows non webextension (webRTC?) based extensions and will disable them only next year.
so I've read -
@speedForce I think you need to set a config entry to allow those extensions, though.

@ThatDude why do so many people change their gender here as a joke, its really confusing and leads to me addressing them by their displayed gender in the end anyway.
-
-
@theCalcaholic On a serious note though; the people that I got to know here that are transsexual or transgender are just really happy and nice people, I just hope they dont get too shaky about this kind of avatar-jokery anyway.
It's just generally kind of confusing as I usualy try to remember the gender of somebody and their avatar too, now everybody is trolling and it makes it especially hard for me. -
@JoshBent It me it's not even about the gender. If someone were to change the background color of his avatar I'd already be confused. :P
-
@ThatDude just don't be surprised if I sometimes address you as female, since I rather go the direct avatar route when mentioning someone, than accidentally remember somebody wrong.
-
@linuxxx Try going to about:config and toggling the key 'extensions.legacy.enabled' to 'true'

You should read "Cookieless Monster: Exploring the Ecosystem of Web-Based Device Fingerprinting".
With exotic or halfway blocked/manipulated metadata like user agent settings you are even more trackable than with your defaults.
Not saying that the use of vpn & ghostery & ... is bad, but it has to be done right.
