I received my raspberry pi ! What's the coolest thing you've ever done with it ?

Install kodi and use it as a media player...
had hopes to do something one day but lack of motivation are working against me

I got mine one Christmas, I put it on top of my dresser, and never used it. such a cool little toy, but apparently I'm too lazy

Mine is hooked up to an external hard drive running a plex server. Though an actual computer is definitely a better choice for plex, the pi is more fun.

Two things: an Asterisk VoIP server and to show nagios and newrelic monitor webpages on company screen

a GPS-disciplined NTP server with a compiled-in kernel PPS module, keeping time with a accuracy of 1µs, and of coulse a LCD to show the time. (and of course syncing the microwave clock by using a wall socket remote plug and a schedule that briefly turn off power to mw at 00:00)

I've made it into a web and storage server... at the same time you can use it as an IRC server... but by far the hardest thing I've done with it was a VPN server o.o

A multi-console emulator running RetroPie ... mounted to a 7" touch screen with USB Super Nintendo controllers.
