    @netikras I love you as a friend, but the part of me that’s binge watched Forensic Files is muffled screaming something about not wanting to share the location of my dwelling in a return address. I think the last time I sent a package in the mail was to send an ex-co-worker a stuffed animal I’d created that my husband found horrifying and didn’t want in the house. The time before that was to send my sister and nephews a care package of S’mores ingredients because they don’t have S’mores in the UK. The time before that was to mail an ex-lover jerk sauce as a statement. 😂 I don’t really send packages much.

    @AmyShackles well that's unfortunate :)

    P.S. I think you can kind of obfuscate your address by using Parcel Machines. It's not applicable to me though as I'd still figure out your location and do what Joe did when I was binge-watching "You" :D

    @netikras I appreciate your honesty in this moment. 😂

    @AmyShackles @netikras You guys can use a mutually selected drop-location if it's feasible.

    Or imagine if some of the devRant users set up an onion-routing like drop box hopping network where the packages get delivered without exposing anyone's actual address.

    @AmyShackles you made me think about 15+ yrs ago when USPS had made "flat-rate boxes"Im pretty sure i have some negative post worker karma cuz i would do things like send an xbox friend cookies... sometimes little novelty stuff/something I thought they'd like. Id always have some extra space... ++ flat-rate so.. i may have sent things like rolls of pennies, the occasional rock, various things that were around ...etc

    Tbh my habits haven't changed much. I found a really old ipod *maybe* nano... and a "Switchfoot" CD several months ago... and now reside in canada... not sure if in a dump or a pile of 'when i might need tech parts'.

    USPS also tends to go back and forth on if they think im *something dangerous* ...get enough small seemingly random packages from china... some of those "Descriptions:" they really shouldve thought a bit harder on...just like things they see as buzz words filling the field including several terms like "butt plug" fyi, was a dashboard phone mat

    @netikras so I'm actually a very skilled hacker (mainly cuz im autistic af and was highly unsupervised as a lil kid in the later 90s). I still get surprised when i(or someone else) happens to mention something that ref/infers/whatever that i can/know "hacking" and there's often either a sudden taunting session from someone, "teach me!"... as if its like a cheat code on sega, or starts acting weird under 'please dont hack me ok'...
    I get im autistic and an outlier in several other ways... but all 3 most common instances are totally asinine. Especially the last one... why do people assume someone who has the ability to hack into *whatever* would want to hack them specifically...idk if its narcissistic or wtf... I dont get anything outside of nearly pure logic...and i try/tried.

    @netikras yeah... im extremely literal by default, knowing it's a joke doesnt change answers often
