kamen6995298dNot the best analogy, but I agree. More phones should have 5 Ah or larger batteries even if it's at the expense of being a bit thicker. Also more phones should have user-replaceable batteries - 2 years in, even if you're happy with a phone, the battery is going to be noticeably degraded.

lorentz15268298dYour phone doesn't need a large battery, it needs removable batteries, 2 batteries and a charger in the pack, and a per-vendor standard that allows you to stockpile and borrow batteries.
Just like the DLSM camera -
retoor12027297dI decided that I just use the phone too much when it doesn't last a day. I rather adjust my phone behavior than I gonna switch batteries. Last week I walked 5km with a 4% battery with a Bluetooth headphone and power saving enabled

CodingTripledad173295dI totally agree with the 2nd statement. Camera quality on phones doesn't matter, buy a DSLM :)

exerceo1192295d@lorentz It needs a large and replaceable battery.
But replaceable is more important because even a large battery has finite cycles. -
lorentz15268295d@exerceo Different users have wildly different needs with respect to battery capabilities. Cameras support all of them by having standard hot-swappable batteries so that the users can figure out their power logistics the same way they already figure out other physical consumables like water, utilizing intuitive techniques like giving a resource to someone else, deciding how much capacity they want to carry depending on where they're going, or operating efficiently out of an outpost with a refill station.
“ Your smartphone doesn't need a large battery! Just use your power bank! ”
Oh really? Then your smartphone doesn't need a good camera. Just use your DSLM camera!
