Should the word "nub" (in the sense of a knob or button) be used in commit messages?

it's a word. not even a very interesting one.

i'm curious what triviality even called up the question.

@tosensei We've got these 2d controls a bit like the thumbsticks on a gamepad. But they don't look like that, and it's not for a game, and "nubs" just seems like the perfect name for them.

Depends if it's actually used in conversation. If everyone calls it a button use button in the message. Makes it easier to search/scan.
Sometimes some names don't even make sense but if it is the lingo used either change the lingo or use it consistently.
