Jilano273046y@Froot I would say typing without looking at your keyboard.
Source: "Touch typing is typing without using the sense of sight to find the keys. Specifically, a touch typist will know their location on the keyboard through muscle memory." -
plusgut60796y@Jilano I would pass that. But I thought it means typing on a Smartphone, I would fail that.
What you described I would use the term blind typing. -
I'm kinda half touch typing. I'd love to be able to touch type. Wouldn't require a backlit keyboard then

Double-A4366yYou don't need to touch type as a dev because you are writing from your mind. You just need it to digitalize printed Texts, so you can keep your eyes on the paper.

I tend to use my brain to code, typing is the result of a lot of hard work.
I guess I would call it a non functional requirement -
@codePatrol Developers exist that think touch typing is a requirement? THAT's crazy
-
@qbalsdon I would be surprised if someone couldn't touch type after typing all day every day. I guess that's how I actually feel about it.

I have absolutely no respect for developers who can't properly touch-type.
