How do you people choose your preferred distros?

For personal use: the one with a decent interface. Haven't really found any keeps yet though.

For work: Debian since it's the preferred one in the project. If you ever want help from the global community of the particular software I have worked with it's the one to go with.

@leeyenc92 Havent used it in a long while bit it was one of the better last time I was shopping around.

I started with arch, after a few reinstalls and a lot of tinkering I got it working and how I liked it. A few months passed and the amount of random bugs became overwhelming so I moved to Debian - haven't had any serious issues since. But in retrospect I think I just probably broke arch.
