@deusprogrammer Tomcat is huge. Try Jetty instead. Compatible, fast.

@AndSoWeCode good idea. Granted it seems like it’s only the calls that hit the filesystem that skyrocket the CPU usage.
So qq. I am trying to make a portable (low volume) web appliance with a Raspberry Pi...but it’s dog slow. It uses an embedded DB so I am assuming it is probably the SD card that is the bottle neck. Do you think an external drive would help?
