@windlessuser bugs are excusable. But rendering an entire global ecosystem of computers unsecured with a mistake which was only found when a Twitter user pointed it out is not.

@Gilfoyle @windlessuser At a bare minimum a company should not advertise software as secure if it hasn’t been tested for Root access 😂

@Condor Do u even realise the Vulnerability they shipped with. It's the bare minimum thing to check. I am pretty sure more unexposed vulnerabilities still remain.

@Condor When you live in Countryside, you can often leave your door unlocked. You may feel safe, but you are not really secure ! 😂

Bugs happen to the best of us. Look at heart bleed for example. OpenSSL has thousands of eyes on it. I’d more judge teams on their deployment velocity. The exploit was patched inside of 6hrs. That’s crazy fast given the size of the org and code base!

@windlessuser 20hrs. N it's good they patched in 20 hrs. It's just nature of flaw which makes me laugh about Apple under Tim!

@Condor We are all logical people here. There are Tons on every OS and everywhere else. Doesn't mean we have to Keep an Exception for Apple. When WannaCry happed, Windows had their back lash. Sites with Plain Text Passwords are bashed everyday by devs like us, I am sure. Google fucked up with Pixel, it was bashed too.

A big fuck-up by apple came to light (This is not the first time, I can give you tons here too). I don't keep Apple in any exception list like the Apple fans who live in a 'fantasy world' of their own and when struck with reality, 'cry out' loud in the name of windows and android.
