If you look down on your family so much, congrats. Everything goes.

- Don't engage. Don't even come visit.

- Be nice and tolerant.

- Be sarcastic, but make a game about them not understanding you insulting them.

- Be sarcastic and make them understand that you are.

- Be nasty and insult them openly.

- Be nice, but make sure you give them the worst advice possible while sounding sincere and convincing them you know best.

That's the great thing about disliking someone. It gives you absolute freedom. While when you like someone, well, that's harder.

Divorce them.

Some context:

My father is the eldest child of 4 (3 sons, 1 daughter) and unfortunately the only successful one.

Now, all his life he took care of them. Fucking alcholic 3rd son who recently drank perfume, retarded 2nd son academically inclined and has victim mindsent, and idiotic daughter who married a volleyball player who got injured and now has no money.

Now, I am the eldest son and curse continues. Cousin is 19 can't graduate 10th grade, other one can't pay her tuitions, one guy failed university. In the name of family, they are such fucking burden and torment.

I try to help as much as I can, but either way it's lose-lose. They get angry if I don't do their assignments, don't house them etc.

I understand, there is an evolutionary imperative to take care of your family, but that's the great thing about intelligence. You can overcome some of our predefined programming.

So, let them go the way of the dodo and you start building a new group that is not beyond saving.
