Since HostGator was acquired by EIG company, it has gone fucked up. I mean all fucked up, servers, email and support.

@error503 I found one helpful person over the live chat, so I'm going to ask for her when I need tech support

@calmyourtities how long did you have to wait for someone to come on chat?

@error503 around 6pm it took 17 min, around 4pm it was less than two on multiple times

Don't use web hosting. Use a full server, one you can configure to your liking.

The cheapest Vultr instance is $2.50, Digitalocean $5, AWS micro instance is free for the first year, then ~$10 after that (but you need a credit card).

Especially AWS management skills are a great addition to any resume.
