Developing a Haskell project, indenting everything with 3 spaces. Develop to over a million lines of code. Use Darcs as a repository. Run the code on AIX powerpc architecture. Suffering from special snowflake syndrome.

    @Bitwise @aaxa This project is still running on the servers of a large pharmaceutical multinational, running simulations on a separate CUDA farm, checking results in production labs.

    Last I heard they at least ported most of their servers from AIX to Linux, and in my defense neither the language nor the system architecture was my decision.

    But I do feel bad for the current maintainer.

    Oh wait, forget all of the above.

    My biggest sin is actually... zero documentation for a million lines of Haskell.

    @theCreativeOne @ArcaneEye

    The lust to pick the most unique technologies to work with. You know, trying to run RedoxOS on a potatopowered Raspberry Pi with xmonad (because i3wm is too common), using your custom compiled rxvt terminal with an ncurses devrant client.

    Wait is there an ncurses devrant client? If not... I need it...

    Hello, I'm bittersweet, and I'm a special snowflake.

    I've been trying to use OSX, Windows, or even just Ubuntu for 2 weeks now, but at 3am I'm just not strong enough and I find myself compiling Gentoo on my old ARM smartphone, after I soldered a bigger BGA DDR ram chip on it.

    It's not just an addiction, it's a disease.
