Is this the beginning of the end? Seems like devRant ++ is bugged. Payment for April was taken but I'm nolonger a ++ member.

I noticed the theme change this morning. I’m guessing it’s just a bug, or one of the servers getting stuck.

Same here. But i get to keep black theme. Seems like if you dont uninstall it, it stays!

@Lensflare At this point I wouldn't even care tbh. Sorry to say @dfox but at this point it feels like this site has just become a money maker and what was once "supporting" the development of this thing has now just become paying the server bills. Hopefully this is not actually the case and the lack of communication has to do with something else, but at this point, with weekly rants and updates coming to a stand still I'm having a hard time seeing it any other way.

Sorry, still looking into it. I’m also going to start working with some users who have volunteered to work in devRant/hopefully taking over the maintenance and improving it. If you’re interested in helping with this, please let me know.

Also to be clear about one thing, nothing on devRant is a money maker. We were never able to generate a profit at any point in the app’s history, and that’s certainly true today.

If the community takes over like we hope, we’ll still have to figure out how the bills will get paid, because right now that’s of course coming from us/always been subsidized.

@dfox Thank you for letting us know, and for being a bit transparent. I think there are still some souls left here who would do great maintaining this place.
