You can also do, eg, apt-get install firefox and chrome/chromium.
In fact, on Linux based distros (I can’t say for BSD cause I’ve never used it), applications are mostly installed via their respective package managers. On Ubuntu, if you’re installing apps via its app store, it’s essentially doing an apt-get install I believe. The app store is just a GUI wrapper, I think. -
