    Yup.

"But what are you going to use, waterfall?!"
"we had 52 releases last year..."
    "but you are using waterfall!?"
"not really... we use blah blah...."
"thats not AGILE! so by process of elimination, you are uaing WATERFALL!"
    ....
"Whatever. When can we finish this 3 day long training on agile, and get back to actual work?"

Actual things that actually happened in a large corp.

… because morons think everyone needs a ceremony to tell everyone what they’re paid for.

Or maybe people who pay have no fucking clue what they want so they force you to tell them what they’re paying for, they want you to decide what they want because of their illusions of certain things.

And you called it by the name.

It’s developed under capitalism, of course it’s exploitative. (Note this is not inherent anti capitalism discourse, exploitation isn’t the worst thing in all cases)

So this brings me to the question:

In Soviet Russia: does SCRUM Agile you?

Though it would be interesting to look into software practices developed under wildly different incentive structures.

EVERYTHING in a capitalist economy is just another form of exploitation.
