I don't like Atom that much either. Haven't really touched VSC, so idk. I'll try it out in the future, I guess.

Sublime is also waaaay faster. And Python as the language of choice for plugins is wonderfull really. I do like vs code tho.
-
I basically only use vim and tmux, that said I think the add-on potential for atom is pretty nice. It is much lighter than a full fledged ide but you can customize key bindings (love vim in atom), in window terminal, solid git integration. I enjoy it from time to time.

px0622427y@vimordeath I don't see any advantage of using vim for Java or C# and maybe c++ because I rely alot on IDE and built in documentation. Though I know there are plugins that achieve this, an IDE for the languages is far better.

@px06 I would never use vim for a larger project, luckily most of my job is smaller isolated projects, when I am doing app development or something bigger though always trust the handy vim plugin.

raven32I hate everybody who says JavaScript is the best language because of loose typing and its easy to learn, YES O...
Unpopular opinion: atom and vscode are both shit. I hate using them, I don't think they are at all comfortable to use (for me). I prefer sublime and the bindings that it has.
