Although I haven't met many 'friends' here, I have to say it's nice to have a place where you can say things like "I use Linux", "I spent last Friday night coding at home" or "I hate Facebook because I give a fuck about my privacy" and get compliments instead of complaints. I wish I found more people like you guys in my everyday life

I haven't met many people through programming but I've met many friends through devRant but certainly also through being a Linux (server) enthusiast.
At study I found some good Linux guys and now through devRant I've gotten some awesome linuxers and privacy/security like minded people who I definitely see as great friends!
Also I find it awesome that I can actually teach people stuffs that I love researching about/ doing myself!
