I hate UI design. When you code functionality, you either make a thing work or crash, efficient or unefficient, reliable or unreliable, maintainable or unmaintainable; but in UI design there's by no means an established way to make something look pretty and that pisses the crap out of me. You cand spend countless hours working in UI design, using the latest CSS libraries and frameworks, but at the end, any client can easily say it's crap no matter how cool anyone else think it looks. UI design sucks.

@Charon92 I'm familiar with Material Design and I also think it's cool, but the point is that UI design is ambiguous and subjective. Anyone can say Material Design apps and websites are crap and you cannot prove them wrong.

Lol if it sucks, you might be doing it probably wrong 😂 UI designing is a work of creativeness and understanding. There's a lot to learn about your client and the target audience before doing anything. Main part, clients are so dumb. Either you need to let your creativity curse you and design something your client likes. Or put full effort to build something beautiful and get satisfied. Always do mockups before starting to code your design, that'll help a lot because its a continuous process and having the design ahead of code makes things easier.
