github95487y@CozyPlanes I meant I came over to meet my family. I stay alone away from them since my work location is different.

htlr51307yDuh! Installing an OS as a software Engineer, thats pretty often and am damn sure one will be able to do that.

hell165967yIT shops where I live are a bunch of filth lying thieves, I know because I worked 7 years with these bastards...

github95487y@azous Same here. Luckily, my dad told me that he knows the IT guy as he is the same guy who handles my dad's office IT stuffs. So, I considered it safe.
Anyways, if something worst happens, I have to start taking action on my hand. -
github95487y@azous Yup. Just for formatting, they charge a lot. Here, generally they charge $8-10.
It's really way way too much. -

Its crazy, I made some money this way, everyone charges U$30-40 so I can charge U$ 20 and it helps pay the bills some times lol

github95487y@azous $20 for formatting and installing new OS and few softwares? Or you did something else too.

hell165967yHehe yep , but on the other hand we are charged a lot more for eletronics, a Macbook pro that is U$ 2k at apple.com becomes more than U$ 5k at apple.com.br and people still buy that shit @github
Heights of laziness.
My dad's laptop having "WINDOWS OS" got full of viruses and my dad wanted me to repair it since I visited my home.
But I insisted him to get it repaired at some IT shop. Went to an IT shop, my dad introduced the shopkeeper that I am his son and is a software engineer. That moment, I really felt bad that even I could have done formatting and installing applications back.
Now, let's hope it comes back full healthy and clean.
