@h3ll There is. But I do genuinely feel some people are absolute magpies and totally attracted to the shiny without due consideration of all possible risks. I know I'm probably over-cautious by nature, but I've seldom come across a project which has jumped early to an esoteric technology choice and been a long-term success.
