What do you think about replacing the backend with Google firebase, it would just save so much Work?

I don't know much about firebase but it does seem interesting.

I use it since May 2016 and it's pretty awesome. No back end guy in our team and I'm doing both Android and iOS app versions easily

Used it for one of my client project. Easy to work with. Great for prototyping but when you have to scale, it might cost you a bit more.

Firebase is good,so is their functions you throw there instead of a full web service, but I'd still be better off making db, service on my own

Useful, but using it gives all of your data freely to Google.

Also, it apparently has scaling issues.
