i have same problems, but i think the best choise is android for personalization...

tysa42968ytbh I am still waiting for something better.
Though Android has gotten way ahead of iOS after the death of jobs -
fiskolin7918yI use both, Android as my personal mobile phone and IOS for company use. If you're looking for a free OS that provide you many apps as you want (most of them free), personalized as you want (with root access you can use different ROM, depending of your mobile phone, as an example), you'll need to choose Android. IOS is awesome taking pictures, Geo Localization works well (I use IOS as GPS instead my Chinese Android), syncing with OSX (iMessage, photos,...), you def will choose IOS.
My prefered mobile OS is absolutely Android - I use it as my second computer (FTP, IDE, SSH, Email - as iPhone -, Learn - SoloLearn, Udacity). -
da-n238yThe question I have is how come we only have 2 viable choices, hoping that Ubuntu can sort out its FOSS offering as I'd love another proper nix mobile OS on my phone.

This was my last week's question... I still have no clue which one to choose. iOS seems more stable and Android is better to customize or push it to the "best of your hardware", but, sometimes it seems every year I need to change my Android Smartphone, just because all apps start to get slow. :/ When I had an iPhone, I didn't have those feelings.

fiskolin7918y@felipebhz you didn't get those feelings cause you simply cannot use iPhone as you'll use an Android. :P My android is slower than the fresh beggining, but at the beggining I just had a couple of apps installed, now I have 47. In Android world you had an advantage to, the price of one awesome machine with an excellent cpu, memory size and even camera sensor is similar to the newest iPhone, and you could buy the best chinese brands (One Plus One, Xiaomi, Elephone,...) and the price gets lower than a Samsung, Sony, Huawei...
the question is Android or iOS??!
