The price you have to pay to have a working SSL termination in HAProxy. It does not recognize the x-forwarded-for hearders.
Check the link above if you want to help to implement that feature.

@Linux At least they use gitlab. Thats cool. Maybe ill look into it. I sadly don't have a server + enough email aliases to test. But i have holidays and nothing to do so why not?

One domain is enough, mailman handle all the aliases.

@Linux I know this is how it works. I wasn't blaming you for it. Just stating that it's sad that this day in age passwords are still sent in clear text.
