Samsung make such shit phones. My 2 month old s8 completely locked up for about 5 hours today with cpu on 100%. You would get burnes if you touched it. The only apps I have are, instagram, FF, snap, devRant. Smh.

I never really used snapchat apart from saving the videos I took with my sister's Snapchat spectacles, but it did drain my battery real fast even when closed or never opened after a reboot on my xperia.

DevRant may also be a culprit. I don't know why, but every time I keep it running in background, my battery seems to lose half its autonomy. That has varied with updates.

Have you tried rebooting it ? If so, maybe call support ? Because that doesn't seem like normal behaviour to me

I'd go to Samsung about that. I've got the s8 as work phone and it works great with many apps open!

@CptFox i couldn't reboot it. It was completely locked up. I tried holding down the power button for a minute but it didn't react to anything.

@CozyPlanes It's nor linked to me but to the company, same as the gmail account. I made sure to only use it for work stuffs! Also disabled location tracking :)

The other option was an iPhone and that's a no go for me so ya

@matsaki95 not just voiding warranty. Have you seen the s8? It's a brick of glass helt together by glue :P
