jobylie67067y@simulate thanks! I used blender, not perfect for this application but I'm not good enough at any proper CAD software
-
jobylie67067y@PerfectAsshole it is designed to cool an airstream before it enters a machine. This particular part holds the cooler. And yes, you can also use it to cool your cpu.
-
@jobylie Neat. wouldn't use a 3d printed part on a cpu though. Just my personal prefrence cause ideally the cpu wouldn't get hot enough to damage it
-
jobylie67067y@PerfectAsshole the material is rated to use up to 251°C so it should be fine. But I still won't use it in a pc because I fear that condensation water could break something.

@jobylie 1001fonts.com get a nice font, change blender render to cycles render. Add(not mesh) but text, thicken it, Add material, choose nodes, like The Holy Glass.. jk.. just glass shader. Add lights properly, add a plane, that's your bg image, diffuse material, texture: a picture from the internet, then place the camera to get that nice glass infront of picture refraction,THEN HIT F12 😊

Of course, this is great, I am just at the beginning of studying the 3D. I plan to purchase a course here https://3dskillup.com/ , which will allow me to cope faster. Where did you start?
When you are so fed up with your software you start designing hardware.
Ok honestly I just wanted to show of my modeling skills. Going to 3d print this soon.
