Would a subreddit be a stopgap to a replacement?

Replacement for devrant? I dunno, reddit seems also more quiet than before. I've seen someone creating an alternative for a forum before, took half of people with him and quite short after that, both were death. Even worse was the reason of making the alternative: because of some designer finding the forum had outdated looks. I think it was custom made and looked fine to me. For dutchies: eprogrammeur.nl was awesome

No, because I have a really diverse and fucked up reddit sub history.

Whatever you need to get your fix.

Seconded that reddit is a bottom tier shithole now. 4Chan is more respectable. That and part of why devrant is so genius is that it's a topically walled garden.

I've gotten a little bit of enjoyment out of the social component of github, so I guess I'd recommend that.

I actually like how quiet devRant is. You always see the same few faces. That really encourages you to be civil and nice. Bigger forums just devolve into everybody screaming at each other because it's a bunch of randos that don't know each other

@12bitfloat I do agree. I would prefer a bit busier tho. But this community feels quite personal indeed

@12bitfloat do we need more screaming? I can do more screaming.

@Demolishun more screaming, less crazy rambling I think. And fewer crypto spam bots.

@Demolishun WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST FUCKING SAY ABOUT ME YOU LITTLE BITCH?

    Something like that

@12bitfloat I thought you were serious for a second. But I only told one person you probably are not a 12bitfloat. More like a 3bitfloat. Well, that's what she said anyway...

@Demolishun It gets bigger when I'm excited...
