I think people should go with them if they don’t have extra needs. At the end they probably wouldn’t design it much other. At least they’re going to have a nice looking site instead of an outdated one

I'm a Linux support engineer. If I'd get one euro every time someone asked our support if we can help them in fuck their shopify or what the fuck ever wordpress installation which they fucked up themselves, I'd spend that money on expensive liquor for dealing with that bullshit.

AllenII16197yThey're slightly better than complete shit; still shit though. I actually was presented an opportunity to redisign a site made with Wux because it simply was not that pretty (or responsive, for that matter)

(Please note that it is a dirty hack currently that I made in a few hours, and it still looks cleaner than the Wix version) -
cursee171597yIf you don't know any programming, have no plan to work witn any programmer but still want a static information website or simple ecommerence website with not much transactions, use them.
Way better than hiring a cheap freelancer with a cheapass project fees and coming up with only-god-knows how it was created codebase.
What's your opinion on sites like Wix and Shopify?
Personally, I think they're ok for a placeholder site, but not a permanent site. If you're looking to be a professional company or store, then I feel you should have an original site, to be honest.
