I was happy with the beta, people online were focussed and competent, which was nice.

@gorsamp me too! I heard there's another beta coming up a week before release date.

@noisyass2 I'll be the guy getting way too close to the monster so I can hit him with my hammer

@gorsamp I'll be the one cutting its tail with a greatsword ( my choice of weapon in previous mh ) or hurling arrows from afar with my bow ( the one i suck at )

Maybe it'll make me a MH player once again. I hope the (gun)lance is still as much fun as it was in the good old MH games.

@deadlyRants I tried it in the beta, you know that full blast finisher of gl? Now he jumps to mount the monster before unloading the full blast for additional mount dmg. That was cool AF.

Ngl, with modern hardware, I'm rather unimpressed by Capcom's technical team. LOD 0s seem to be far too low poly for 2018 but the artistic direction is fantastic. It's too bad it's not UE4 as well 😖

@irene I agree to an extent. A great material can save a bad model but a great model can't save a bad material. But there's nothing saying that a great model and a great material don't look better any how 🤷‍♀️. Also, in terms of 2018 standards, Overlord isn't even remotely up to scratch.

Games can look good with low poly counts but will always look better with properly optimized LODs.

@Saghen Honestly graphics are the least important thing for me, as long as it's not on the usual Nintendo 3DS level.
