@Root thank you! I just learnt Ruby seriously recently and fell in love with it. Don't care about trends though (ruby/rails is dead etc) haha.

I use it at work.
And yes seeing it's limitations,slowness and messy code...
I'll never use it for my own project.

Rails is awesome. I find it a bit difficult to learn because it's very... magic, but very worthy, anyway.

If you like rails then stick to it. Ruby is an amazing langueage and the Rails ecosystem is mature enough for practically anything you can throw at it. The docs are pure gold and really the magic can be fairly logical depending on you (as in how much you understand)

The trends on it are retarded i.e its slow, its dead bla bla

Just have fun! And check put sinatra as well and hanami! Ruby is a beautiful programming language :)

@purpletoxicrain your people are using it wrong then :) coding in rails tbe right way reads like a good story. And slow code can 9 times out of ten be because of the developers using it man.
