When your pm forces you to push new features out too quickly and you're slowly digging yourself into a messy hell, knowing you have to one day refactor thousands of lines of code.

Yes, that generally comes back to haunt us. Better to do it the right way first.

but product managers or ceo dont see it like that. the faster the new feature comes out the better it is

OMG I'm so tired of doing stuff half ass because I get 5 hours to do 10 hours of work and I look over the code later and it's garbage

I've been working like this for over a year. They don't care if the code is crap, they just want it fast.

We just sold our company and now I spend half my days explaining to the other developers at the new company why the code is shit and it's embarrassing. The other half of my day is building out our new company.... At a marketers pace... Fast and sloppy.

Glad the one boss gets to drive around in the new lambo though.
