Websites nowadays feels and look the same in its structure and how its designed and the elements around it

Its almost like software interface designers follow a pattern

I fee like "hand crafted" software for a niche will be the way to go to differentiate yourself and to give unique experience to end users

Yes, they do follow a pattern. There are some youtube video's about why the internet became so boring. Logo's were detailed too in the past but now very flat and simple. It's just a type of design everyone follows from facebook / microsoft. It's possible to see kinda which year a site is developed. devRant, on the other had is quite timeless since it really has it's own design but also some rounded corners here and there what says smth.

But you're right, I'm a bit disappointed too. All those 'designers' and they make the freaking same? So, I could literally become a designer with stealing designs from GPT (what i'm doing, but i don't sell that as a product, I just don't like to spent time on design and don't care about CSS quality.).

Imagine how creative the internet once was especially in the 2000's era when Flash was still a thing and everyone could draw their website exactly as they wanted. Free form! Or the 90's where it was hip to use as many images (gifs) possible.

About 40% of all websites are built on Wordpress.

@Demolishun yh and prolly using the same few nice templates. They're different, but based on, so yh.. We're all looking at the same sites with different colors and logo. Yh, WordPress, not everyone has the amazing skill of making such thing as the one and only https://molodetz.nl. Such design, such functionality. Even installable as wpa to be logged in forever! Who still uses github?

@Demolishun check this guy getting bashed with eleven bots: https://devrant.com/rants/11600145/...
Normally they upvote their rants again after a week but there's no coming back from this 😁 On top I also have a service running to remove those rants for second time. Such a fun hobby.
