Why do people overlook hosting? They have an awesome website built but then go for the crappiest web hosting!

    Truth right here

How do you identify what makes a good host?

Then again... do you need unlimited storage, mysql, <random unlimited unnecessary thing>? I think the good website shouldn't be only good on graphical and coding site, but should be lightweight too.

I mean, wth would you build some hungry monster?

Same goes the other way around too. Some people get dedicated hosting even though they have 1 or 2 websites which get probably 5000 hits a day. I think digitalocean gives you the best flexibility when it comes to hosting. Scale as you need

can u please give me the names of good hosting

@code-freak depends on what do you want to do with the hosting. I personally go looking for free hosting in the beginning and a good one(for my needs) pops out on a while. Also good hosting can be a cheap hosting, a hosting with all new features, a hosting with python/perl/... support etc.

They should carefully select a host and ask about redundancy, DR, uptime... Otherwise they will get bitten.
