I genuinely am lost for words on this one.

I just asked a user to press the wifi button on their laptop so i can check their wired connection was up and running okay.
They couldn’t find the blue ‘Fn’ or ‘aerial’ symbol that i described, so sent me this picture to see if they were pressing the right button.

Like....

What?? No!
What is wrong with you?? Seriously???
*cries*
Working on a helpdesk is destroying my soul!!

    It doesn't look like a laptop keyboard either

    This is a prime example of reasons I hate working help desks.

    I don't think this keyboard has a FN key ...

    @sunfishcc why wouldn't it have an FN key? How else would you get to the secondary functions of the "Home" and "End" keys? If @Number0 is asking for it, I'm sure it would be there ;)

    Also, I really hope you don't have to touch other people's gunky keyboards :/

    @Flygger @divil @sunfishcc
    this keyboard actually doesn’t have an FN button, you are very correct!
    But that is why i asked them to press the keys on their laptop... i actually said ‘open your laptop and press the blue Fn key’ but obviously they didn’t quite understand the difference lol

    And unfortunately i do have to touch disgusting keyboards like this.
    Its ok, I have hand-sanitizer on my desk at all times lol!
