@sunfishcc my firefox is very restrictive (noscript etc.), so in order to work correctly until the work-laptop comes in i created another profile with slack/trello on the whitelist. Things go much smoother that way.
Do they maybe use bootstrap? There was an issue with bootstrap 4 and react 16, so you couldn't upgrade react

@YouAreAPIRate checked our package, we are using react 16 with bootstrap 3.3. Guess saas don't care ui too much :(

@sunfishcc bootstrap 3 is still good, and if i'd use airbnb i'd pay more attention to the offers i get than the ui

@YouAreAPIRate I never see the bright side in airbnb's ui. But compare it with Wish, I guess it definitely hands down better

@sunfishcc isn't wish made by a chinese company that just resells things from alibaba etc? so I guess originally they might have wanted to target the asian market, which apps look exactly like that, flashy, lot of animations, jumpy emoticons etc. or simpler, maybe since they were developing said apps, they just toned it down for the international market.

@JoshBent no. They promote Chinese products but they do have some useful npm modules, and they do speech in many react conference

@sunfishcc thats surprising, got any links to their npm modules and some talks? their name makes it amazingly difficult to find it

@JoshBent contextLogic inc. is one of their account. If you go to their career page, most of developer jobs r in San Francisco and they hiring a lot.
