Remove it completly. There is no point in forcing it on children, governments are too slow to deliver a proper education plan that is not horrible outdated and proper coding teachers are non-existant.

Instead they shoul focus on STEM and provide computer clubs that are not based around grades and education plans.

Nationalized education is the worst possible approach. It's slow, standardized (meaning least-common-denominator), has mandatory attendance, and politically correctness; these together mean it only ever gets worse, and there is no drive to improve.

Privately-run schools, by contrast, can actually hire people who know what they're talking about, and teach relevant information... not just what they are required to by law. They need to provide quality education and service or their customers will switch schools.
