Wtf, who still using IE? The worst browser. I do not understand why people use IE, Chrome is the best 😎

@MarkMed because people don't like change and understanding a new browser would be too complex. Also they like their 25 toolbars.

I mean programmers could do it 10 years ago - you can't?

@RobertsR Programmers could do it 10 years ago because the Web of 10 years ago was a lot simpler. Less client side stuff and so, forms that refresh your full page on any changes because everything gets recalculated on the server.

It's closed to the clients network @stop

@Ganzalf if it where accessible from the internet, the security argument would be stronger.

It's not that hard to make it work on IE8. You need patience and practice and small hacks and lots of prayers. The real challenge is when the client wants it to work on IE7 ( been there, done that, quit that ).

@RobertsR Tell you client that if they want supportfor a 10 year old browser they can have functionality and design from 10 yours ago. They will understand, clients arn't that bad.

@RobertSmits Indeed especially since he only needs to support it for their local network, he does not even need to make it responsive either
