I definitely understand your pain since I am tweaking a wordpress plugin. But I got paid good money for it and almost every small-medium businesses runs on it. At least , our skill set will still be relevant for the next 2-3 years.

Your post is a little vague. What do you think about WordPress?

I think wordpress intended main use is for a blogger or anyone without any skill of programming language. Not sure tho.
