@sunfishcc We do? I mean being part of the glorious PC masterrace is fine, but I guess I grew too old for such fights. I'd rather keep my PC free of games (and Windows) to have no distractions from work and use a dedicated gaming system (currently only my Nintendo Switch).

Of course you could also use a separate PC for this, but I am kinda a minimalist in this regard.

@sunfishcc With my wife, I play Mario Kart 8 DX ocassionally. Otherwise mostly single player. Currently I rip and tear my way through DOOM, but I really adore many of the indies which feel right at home on a portable gaming system. I have Axiom Verge, Blossom Tales, Shovel Knight, Golf Story, Steamworld Dig 2 among some others.

Of course my first (and only physical) Game was Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Logged about 200h into it.

I do not understand that you need a girlfriend to justify buying a Switch. If anything, you have more time to play without a girlfriend.
