I hate how companies blindly follow shitty trends by apple. First the jack, now this

Although I agree, there's a smoke easy to show them that copying Apple is stupid - Just don't buy those products.

It's not that companies want to follow that trend, this is just competition. Like - if they can do it, so can we!!

Yeah, well, vote with your wallet. I still cringe at the fact that Essential Phone don't have something as essential as Jack. Maybe that's the reason no one remembers them now...
Anyway, there's even an app that creates virtual notch for your Android device. I don't want to endorse this shit so I won't post any links. I'd just shows how many people are retarded to just this crap. It's hard to blame phone manufacturers when people are making apps like that.

The only remotely acceptable notch is on the essential phone, and even then it is too big for me, i like maximising screen size but not like that. Headphone jack is also an essential for me for quite some time yet. If it was replaced by a second type C port then I'd consider it. I still like the idea of plugging my phone into a dock and using it as a PC

Strange parts (on YouTube) also put a headphone jack into one of the new iPhones, there is actually space for it!

That notch is so fucking useless. I recently bought LG V20 and boy! That secondary screen is damn useful. That's something companies should incorporate. Not the fucking notch

Better strange parts putting a jack in his phone, than Jack putting a phone in his strange parts.

Proprietary screen dimensions just make it harder to find a good rom. It takes away users' choices.

Well it's the fault of the people for thinking whatever apple does is right.
