You may face problems in Linux if you think you can troubleshoot then go for it or else stick with windows.

On Linux it might be tricky on the first start($PATH crap) but otherwise it's pretty much identical.

Hausen7117yNo difference, I would say.
Depending on the machine your OS is running on there is a chance that you have to face some driver issues using linux. In my case (with a laptop 5+ years old) I couldn't run the emulator correctly.
