You seem like a simple man who is satisfied with very little :)

Environments that have everything setup often don't let you go outside the lines. Which can make work 10x harder.

@Demolishun my environments are very well. My first compilation is done with a make file. The make file does the whole environment building. I start with it. In the end, you need an environment guaranteed. I hate devops as profession but I do take the task seriously.

@retoor Yep, DevOps has IMO become a lolcow (looks over at terraform) since "everyone" needs to have super scaling. Like no Bob, you and your 50 customers don't need a super mega cloud, here is Raspberry Pi, hope you do something more than host your website on it since that still leaves a lot of capacity

@BordedDev people should do way more about the vertical scaling. Making software more efficienter. Just by some hardware for the existing main server. It prevents so much complexity and your machine is REALLY fast instead of faking it is fast building up some queues somewhere.
