My tab key now requires a harder press than it used to earlier. STUPID MACBOOK. This minor inconvenience is a really major annoyance.

You can pull the key off and check for cat hair. I bet that's the culprit.

Or map the tab key to the Q button. Nobody uses that letter anyway, it's stupid.

English uses q quite a bit, despite it being somewhat redundant with k and c. English is a very inconsistent language regarding spelling and phonetics. It makes learning it harder, but it will probably never get any better.

Bottom line is that we can all easily remap the Q key for TAB without any serious entanglements. @electrineer
