@J-2FA yeah, I can see your point.
Never an Ubuntu fun, feel the UI is too much.
My point is mint is nearly identical to Ubuntu expect the UI.
All I need is a testing server at home, so I can test production build and run some bash. -
@J-2FA I use windows and Mac too. I don't think any frontend developer can work without Mac. That's the genius about Apple, you need a Mac to test anything related to Apple 😂
-
@J-2FA I should put "you won't feel shame when you big enough" and make a meme out of this 🤔

matt-jd10097yBut why didn't you go to mint's forum? I mean there are other places to ask questions or am I just not understanding the joke
-
@matt-jd it started with mint's forum, and then a link to wiki.ubuntu.com
Basically everybody is saying the driver between Ubuntu and mint are the same.
Then I thought, why not ask Ubuntu...

The Intel driver update site for NUCs is super slick. Even BIOS updates are completely automated and only require a 2 minute reboot.
Windows 10, of course.
Huge NUC fan here. -
@irene we had a build Linux kernel course back in postgraduate school.
I didn't take it, so idk the details.
They look similar to me.
BTW the last assignment in that course was writing an Android app. -
@irene good topic 😨 but how many people are working on these kind projects for living... I used to write computer version programs in C++ and Java, but hard to find related work

Asked what's happened on Ubuntu stack exchange, got immediately closed, because of off topic: mint is not Ubuntu...🤦♂️
My solution is to uninstall mint, and install Ubuntu...
Still the same driver issue, but at least I could ask...
God damn it.
