@illusion466 Started a small side project use my spare time at work. Wanna continue it now (Sat 8:59pm btw), but noticed there are some missing pieces.

@illusion466 sometimes I like to continue my work at home after leaving the office. Sometimes I forget to push. Most times forgetting to push means I lose all of my shit and I have to do it over again.

@electrineer Yes I can, but I got a new pc at work last month. I haven't set port forwarding

@illusion466 btw boss setup the whole thing including the expensive fortigate switch 😓 I'm not surprised to touch these.

donuts238487yI sorta had a similar problem.
I wrote a parser in Python but it took forever to run, never completes the job...
Ported it to Java, very fast. Checked into some branch.
Then got pulled into other projects for a free months.
Come back and need the parser again but only found the Python one.
I go "hmm that's strange I thought there was a Java one"
Try the Python one anyway... Slow...
Starts writing a simple port...
After finishing... Somehow finds the original....
Yea FML... -
@illusion466 Also can't VPNs are prohibited
Besides, what would really fix the issue is actually just pushing before you leave your computer
