A: Do you know Big O?
B: Yea I know Big O. Who doesn't know Big O?
A: So what's the Big O of X?
B: It's ....
A: Oh what about Y?
B: Oh that has a bigger Big O.
A: Hm... how about this one?
B: That's a really big Big O. Why not use mine?
A: Ooh that looks impressive, very small. So which Big O should we use?
B: Well there's a constant trade off, even though small is good, in this case I think the bigger one works better.

    Big O notation is for the scalability of algorithm, so it’s not necessarily synonym of speed

    @-vim- i wasnt thinking about speed when i wrote this 😉

    i was thinking about 2 things today, #1 was ranting about technical interviews and #2 is related to guys...

    @-vim- but yea i think this is a fairly normal conversation.... but put in a slightly different context and we could be talking about something very different... i thought was sorta scary....
